‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilerspromise fallout from the wedding revelation, plotting by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), and Laura Webber (Genie Francis) is angry at Valentin. There’s also a request from Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and possible trouble in paradise between Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna Devane (Fionla Huges), plus a big shocker. If you missed it, let’s catch up on some ‘General Hospital’ spoilers.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Saving face
Valentin is worried about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), as she hasn’t returned any calls. He doesn’t know where she is, or how she’s doing. Liesl doesn’t seem too upset that the wedding is off, which annoys Valentin.
Liesl thinks that they both have a way to get out of this unscathed. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) never actually mentioned anyone but her in this whole thing. All they have to do is sell their innocence and keep her quiet. Valentin isn’t sure about this. She threw herself under the bus, and he sees no reason for her not to take them down as well. Liesl still isn’t worried. They just have to make sure that Sasha doesn’t come anywhere near Port Charles again.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Nothing left
About that. They almost get their wish. Sasha is still reeling from being outed and the guilt she feels over this whole situation. She’s also worried about the effect this will have on the Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) case. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is supportive and promises that Cassandra’s laundry list of crimes will make her going away a long time a given, even if she skates on the attempted murder. We think that Sasha’s lying means nothing, personally. Michael was also a witness to Cassandra being there. Plus, there’s all the medical testing that was done. Surely, they’ll be able to tie the strain to her.
She still isn’t sold. She thinks there’s no point in returning, because she has no life waiting for her anymore. Michael thinks that he should be enough motive to stick it out. Eventually, he convinces her that facing the music is better than running away permanently.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: No shame
Also ready to face people is Nina. After waking up at Jasper Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher), she is grateful for his hospitality. He’d even charged her phone for her. When she checks it, she sees that everyone’s been trying to get in touch with her. Jax offers to let her stay with him for a bit, but she declines. She’s got things to take care of and she needs to face the world. As far as Nina sees it, she’s done nothing to be ashamed of.
Later, we see her arrive at Wyndemere, which relieves Valentin. Who knows if he’ll still feel that way later, because we’re guessing that she won’t have anything nice to say.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: How could you?
Also upset is Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) has still not explained to her why she ruined the wedding. She really wants to see Nina, so Lulu agrees to bring her to Crimson to see if they can find her.
When they get there, she overhears Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) talking about Sasha not being Nina’s daughter. She’s really upset, so Peter leaves the women alone to explain as well as they can.
During said explanation, Sasha Gilmore arrives and Charlotte wants to know how she could lie to Nina like that. Sasha is apologetic and tells Charlotte that she wanted to be a part of their family. She knows that she’s lied about something, but she promises Charlotte that she didn’t lie about how much Charlotte and Nina mean to her. This doesn’t seem to be enough for Charlotte.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Make him pay
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is convinced that Valentin had a role in that fraud, and he is determined to make him pay. Not only did he destroy Nina, but Valentin made Curtis a party to it.
Hayden is surprised by how personal this mission has now become for Curtis, but she’s going to take it. Extra motivation and all. While Laura is busy heading to the island to get the portrait, which she’s told them might hold clues, they talk more about the Nina situation.
For the good of their mission, Hayden believes that the best course of action is to make sure Nina doesn’t cooperate should a fraud case be opened. She worries that such a thing would make getting the jump on Valentin almost impossible. Curtis promises to do his best, if it comes to that.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: No right
Speaking of the painting, Laura is furious when she finds out Valentin trashed it. He wants to know what the big deal is. Laura hated Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers), and the picture was upsetting Charlotte.
Laura has to do some fast thinking. She starts complaining that the portrait belonged to Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher), not him. He had no right to do anything with it. She promises that he is going to regret doing that. By the look on his face, we’re guessing Valentin might be wondering if there’s more than meets the eye here.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Get me a puppy
Hamilton Finn tries to do a good deed by giving Hayden his leftovers. She’s confused and wants nothing to do with someone’s half-finished lunch. He explains that he was giving it to her alleged dog. Hayden makes up a story about the dog being on a specialized diet that doesn’t allow for such treats. Finn later tells Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that he thinks there is no actual dog.
Since they’re talking about Hayden, chase gives some brotherly advice. He’s worried that Anna’s absence might be making Finn vulnerable to Hayden. He advises Finn to be careful here. Taking those words to heart, Finn later calls Anna and leaves a message. However, he’s also watching Hayden through a window while he does this. As for Hayden, she has a new request of Curtis. She needs him to get her a dog.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Federal matter
Finally, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) gets some bad news. Just as it seemed she was free and clear, the Feds step in. The murder occurred on international waters, so they don’t really care what the PCPD has found. They want to go over the evidence themselves.
Making matters worse for Sam, the guy who helped Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) is at the station. He demands one phone call, and uses it to get in touch with Peter. Peter refuses to come to the station and expose their connection, but he tells his accomplice to listen carefully. Later, the man is ready to talk. He claims that the person that hired him to help Shiloh escape was Sam.
