BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 28, 2024) – Early entries for the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s have raced past the 1,000 mark for a third consecutive year.
Late Model driver Sean Johnson of Independence, the Super Nationals Stock Car champion in 2011, became the 1,000thdriver to pre-register for the Sept. 2-7 Super Nationals at Boone Speedway on Wednesday morning.
The Stock Cars (275), STARS Mod Lites (77) and Late Models (24) have all topped individual division records.
Entries for the are now in hand from 29 states, two Canadian provinces and Australia. Seven more entries followed Johnson’s mid-morning.
“These are numbers that prove a lot of IMCA racers want to be a part of our marquee event,” said IMCA President Brett Root. “There are many opportunities for IMCA racers to compete for very large purses but there is only one IMCA Super Nationals and one Boone Speedway.”
Modified, Stock Car, Northern SportMod, Hobby Stock, Mod Lite and Sport Compact drivers can continue to pre-register right up until their respective NAPA Auto Parts Double Down Prelude programs Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.
Mod Lites will crown the first champion of the 42ndannual Super Nationals in their $2,000 to win main event on Sunday.
The Labor Day main event for Late Models pays $3,000 to win. Sport Compacts race for $1,250 to win on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
And on Saturday, Sept. 7, Hobby Stocks run for $3,000 to win, Northern SportMods for $5,000 to win, Stock Cars for $8,000 to win and Modifieds for $10,000 to win their respective championship events.
Both nights of the Prelude and all six nights of Super Nationals will be broadcast by IMCA.TV.

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 2) – The 2021 IMCA Speedway Motor Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s is an event for the record book. Again. For the first time in its 39-year history, Super Nationals has topped 900 pre-entries as drivers from 27 states and Canada will be part of the biggest dirt track racing event on the planet Sept. 6-11 at Boone Speedway. Mueller, Burg are best at Boone
By Joyce Eisele BOONE, Iowa (June 29, 2024) – It was a full night of racing entertainment for the fans at Boone Speedway on Saturday night, with 183 cars packing the pits. Repeat wins went to Jake McBirnie in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, Matt Avila in the Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods, and Travis Stensland in the Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites. First-time winners were Jeff Mueller in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Andrew Burg in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks. Things got off to a great start with the flag-to-flag running of the 15 lap feature for Mod Lites. Polesitter Jamie Bailey led the opening lap but Cliff Barber took over when lap two went into the books. By lap eight, it was eighth place starter Stensland who was captain of the ship.
