NFL Week 9 Rest-of-Season Fantasy Football Rankings, Trade Value Chart (2)

Below, you’ll find my top 160 rest-of-season rankings, organized into tiers with point values, after Week 8’s action.

Treat these point values like a trade chart, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find you can’t trade away three bad players and turn them intoChristian McCaffrey— the common issue with most other trade charts.

The bottom of this article contains the full trade chart in a color-coded and downloadable PDF.

Below each set of positional rankings with player tiers and trade values, you’ll find notes on players of interest.

  • Jalen Hurts takes over Josh Allen’s spot for QB1 overall for the rest-of-season rankings. Hurts has at least 21 fantasy points in each of the past seven weeks and is averaging more than 24 on the season. He’s thrown for 277 or more yards each of the past six games and has run at least eight times in all but one contest.
  • Joe Burrow is playing like himself again and appears to be over the calf injury.
  • Kyler Murray will return in Week 9 or Week 10, and he should be set up for fantasy success with a surprisingly competent offensive line, along with Marquise Brown, Trey McBride, Michael Wilsonand James Conner surrounding him. With how the quarterback position has shaped up, Murray could crack the top seven after only one start.
  • Sam Howell continues to put up fantasy points, and taking only one sack on 55 dropbacks against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8 was a great accomplishment. Throwing for nearly 400 yards and four touchdowns was the fantasy point icing on the cake.
  • Joshua Dobbs is now a Minnesota Viking, with Kirk Cousins out for the season with an Achilles injury. Dobbs possesses sneaky mobility and will have star playmakers surrounding him.
  • Will Levis had a strong debut, but the four touchdown passes were slightly misleading.

I watched all 32 Will Levis drop backs from Week 8 with All-22 footage

  • The Cincinnati Bengals offense is humming again, and that’s good news for Joe Mixon, who remains a bell cow.
  • Jahmyr Gibbs moves up after back-to-back highly impressive weeks. After the bye, there’s some chance he overtakes David Montgomery for the lead role. However, I’m still betting on Montgomery (slightly) for the rest of the season.
  • Jonathan Taylor will move up to Tier 3 if he again out-snaps Zack Moss two-to-one like in Week 8.
  • Raheem Mostert is falling in the rankings because his workload has declined recently, and De’Von Achane will be coming off Injured Reserve after next week.
  • Javonte Williams has quietly been a bell cow for the Denver Broncos in back-to-back weeks.
  • Conner moves up the rankings with Kyler Murray’s impending return and the likely return of Conner in the next two weeks.
  • Chuba Hubbard overtakes Miles Sanders after out-touching him 17 to two in Week 8.
  • Darrell Henderson has decent usage once again and should be started each week in fantasy, at least until Kyren Williams returns.
  • Zach Charbonnet out-snapped Kenneth Walker in Week 8, and the talented second-round rookie is rising in the rankings.
  • Leonard Fournette is now a Buffalo Bill, which hurts James Cook and Latavius Murray. Fournette is a competent pass blocker, pass catcher, and goal-line back — a fantasy-friendly skill set.

  • A.J. Brown joins Tier 1 after setting the NFL record with six straight games of at least 125 receiving yards. Pass volume is more of a concern in Philadelphia than in Miami and Cincinnati, but we cannot deny the results anymore.
  • Chris Olave is WR12 in my expected fantasy points model but WR35 on the season. Derek Carr has reached 300 yards in three consecutive games, and I want to trade for Olave in all my leagues. Elite fantasy production should hit soon for the guy trailing only Brown in air yards per game.
  • Davante Adams is at risk of falling into Tier 4 after staying put at the trade deadline. Rookie QB Aidan O’Connell inspires minimal confidence.
  • DeAndre Hopkins rebounds in these rankings after a historic debut from QB Will Levis.
  • Tee Higgins could find himself in Tier 5 if he has a big Week 9 performance. The Bengals offense is one I want to be bullish on for the rest of the season.
  • Zay Flowers falls in the rankings as pass volume continues to be a significant concern in Baltimore.
  • Diontae Johnson has at least a 26 percent target share in both games since returning from injury and gets a favorable Week 9 matchup on Thursday against the Tennessee Titans.
  • Jordan Addison dropped precipitously after the Kirk Cousins injury. The likely No. 3 pass-game option in a Joshua Dobbs offense is not exciting.
  • Drake London is nursing a groin injury, but the switch at quarterback for Week 9 (from Desmond Ridder to Taylor Heinicke) could portend better fantasy days in his future.
  • Jerry Jeudy showed signs of life in Week 8, with a season-high 33 percent target share.
  • Quentin Johnston had a strong showing in Week 8, but it came in a game where Josh Palmer was banged up. We’ll give it another week before thrusting the rookie too far up the rankings.

  • T.J. Hockenson falls down a tier with Cousins’ season-ending injury and the switch to Dobbs at quarterback.
  • Dalton Kincaid had a strong showing in his first game without Dawson Knox, who is on Injured Reserve after wrist surgery.
  • McBride commanded 14 targets in his first game without Zach Ertz (Injured Reserve). He remains in the same tier but slightly behind Kincaid due to a preference for the Buffalo Bills' offensive environment.
  • David Njoku has back-to-back games with a 26 percent target share from P.J. Walker, and Deshaun Watson appears like he’ll miss at least Week 9 if not more time.

Players in the chart are organized by position and tier. The order is: QB, RB, WR, TE. For example, while Austin Ekelerappears ahead ofStefon Diggs, their values are similar. Ekeler plays running back, but Diggs is a wide receiver, hence the order.

There are four columns, with 40 players per column — 160 players in total. At the bottom of the trade value chart are the slightly expanded positional rankings with 205 total players.
