The area beyond Tantra is peaceful. Restock on your items, and buy the armor that protects against status abnormalities - it will become very useful later! Also, a SniperScope for Lin is not a bad idea. When you are ready to go, follow the tunnel to the end.
Old TradeSector A
Bandits, Zombies and Worm-Men plague the first part of this floor. The Zombies are a unique kind of enemy in the game - they do not disappear off of the map until you destroy their Breakheart (a strange relationship exists here - apparently Zombies exist because they died of a broken heart). The Zombies are weak to fire spells and the Breakhearts must be hit with ice spells before they become hittable (lowers their evasion rate).
There is another Backpack to be found on this floor. It is in the blue chest. To get the key you will have to kill all of the Breakhearts on the floor, so kill them as you see them. Go east in the hallway. Notice the yellow door to the south - you can't get there yet. Go north and enter the larger room. There are three rooms in a row - each boasts some Breakhearts. Clear them all out to make the key appear. The blue chest is in the middle of the three rooms. The ladder to the next floor is through the western hallway.
Old TradeSector In and B
This area consists of a set of narrow tunnels. The newest enemies here are the Trilizards. These things will constantly change their elemental weakness, so just counter the spells that they just used - you can never go wrong then. If you go to the southwest you will find the ladder leading to the blocked off area on the floor above.
The northeastern ladder leads to the Old TradeSector B. Kill all the Worm-Men in the area to get the treasure key. The blue chest is in the same small area and will offer up the Circle Stage skill for Ryu. Return to the tunnels.
The northwestern ladder leads to an uninhabited part of the Old TradeSector. Find the stairs and enter the Trinity Pit.
The Trinity Pit
Wander around the place. Find the shops and do your thing. Save your game and then find the leader, Mebeth. (he isn't that hard to find - I find it really hard to give directions here!). Once you have spoken with him, return to Lin. She will suggest looking around for some medicine for Nina. Agree to go with her. Talk to Mebeth to get permission to leave. Go to the barrack (across the main hall from Mebeth's office) and whatever you do, do not agree to go to sleep. This will ruin the mission. Instead, go through the door and climb down the ladder to get to the Old TradeSector 2.
Medicine for Nina
Go into the northeastern room and climb the ladder. Follow the passage until you get to a danger room. Destroy all the GarPikes and GarSnipers to get the medication. Return to the Old TradeSector 2 area.

This time go all the way to the southeast. This will bring you to another ladder that takes you to the Old TradeSector C. Clear out the side rooms, if you want. If you don't want to, just head straight to a second ladder that brings you to the bottom floor. Go west at the first intersection to find a room with a pair of Gigantises. Kill them to get the treasure key. Use it on the blue chest to get Ryu's Discharge skill. Climb the southern stairs to find some treasure rooms. Return to the Trinity Pit and save your game after unloading your gear.
The Trinity Pit (continued)
Return to Mebeth's room and then head west from there to the barracks (you passed through them when looking for the medicine). The guy there asks you, if you want to sleep. Say yes to begin a scene. Go to Nina's aid. This battle has a strange twist to it - you lose if Nina dies. For this reason, keep her at full health at all times. Have her run away and leave traps behind her. Lin and Ryu should head off the enemies. Once the original pair of foes dies, a second pair will join the battle. These are not too hard to kill. Just remember to keep them away from Nina!
After the battle Mebeth gives you the M-Key. He bids you on your way. Go through the nearby door, if you are confident enough in your item supply.
