Week 10 Fantasy Trade Value Chart (2024)

With over 100 yards and a touchdown in three of his last four games, Keenan Allen looks nothing like a rookie. He looks more like a veteran who's been in the league for several years.

That's the kind of image you'll have as Philip Rivers' top target in the Chargers' pass-heavy offense. Thanks to a heavy dose of pass plays and a defense that can't quite shut down many of their opponents, Allen should remain a big part of the Bolts offense from here on out. He should also remain as a fixture in Fantasy lineups.

Allen is potentially an expendable piece for many Fantasy owners because he was picked up in league after league (if he's not then another receiver should be). He's going to cost a pretty penny in trade because of how hot he's been but there's a positive to that -- he should keep it up. And if he keeps up with the 100-yard, one-score games then he's virtually as valuable as the elite receivers in Fantasy. And he shouldn't cost you quite what Demaryius Thomas, Andre Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald will cost you either.

In fact, it's his surprisingly low value that makes him so appealing. Here are some recent trades involving Allen in actual CBSSports.com leagues:

Keenan Allen, Robert Griffin III and Percy Harvin for Cam Newton and Anquan Boldin: I would expect to begin seeing lopsided trades in leagues with the playoff-bound teams moving extra depth for stud talent, but this deal is pretty ridiculous. Even though an owner is upgrading to Newton, he's giving away a ton of talent. It's an example of Allen being undervalued.

Keenan Allen, Stevan Ridley and Roddy White for Drew Brees: Another example of giving up a lot to get an elite-level player. Even Allen and Ridley straight up for Brees is a lot given the trade chart, but it's closer than the previous deal we looked at (White is more a throw-in than anything else it seems). At least in this case Allen is being given a lot of value.

Keenan Allen for Trent Richardson: And here's where Allen is being given next to no value. Richardson's stock has hit rock bottom as he continues to plunge for three yards per carry while wearing the blue horseshoe on his helmet. He hasn't scored in four games and has had 60 total yards or less in every game since joining the Colts. Why someone would deal a performer like Allen for Richardson is beyond me.

Keenan Allen and Harry Douglas for Rob Gronkowski: This deal is fine and is the kind of two-for-one trade we talked about in the Trade Value Chart last week. An owner desperate for a playoff run deals off an elite player for two very good starters. I'd call Allen a low-end No. 1 receiver and Douglas probably more of a low-end No. 2 receiver, but both can start for Fantasy owners. Giving up a top tight end is difficult but if it means filling two starting spots with mostly reliable choices, then so be it.

Our Trade Value Chart is designed to assist you in making fair trades in your standard-scoring or PPR league. The values assigned to the players below are a long-term measurement of their Fantasy value. By adding two players' values you could determine what one player you might be able to get in return. This list should also work as a "Rest of Season" Rankings.
